Cause we're the FIVE best friends that anyone could have.....

Have i mentioned that i LOVED college?? Oh i have?? once or twice??? no way!!! Well just to reiterate (i never claimed to be a spelling genius....just saying) the fact....

I FREAKING LOVED COLLEGE!!!

So much in fact....i stayed for 6 years. No i'm not a doctor, no i didn't get my masters (unless a masters in partying counts), i just took my sweet time..... and along the way i made what i consider the coolest friends EVER. Recently we just finalized our plans for a girls weekend....i'm shocked its actually happening. Not because we don't like eachother and don't miss eachother..... mainly because we're a bunch of lazy dead broke adults now :) The first weekend of June we'll be headed to KC (well i'll be headed there via flying contraptions, and two others will be driving from Wichita, the other two lucky bastards live there). We have ambitious plans.... Royals game, Piano bar, Brewery tour, maybe a family portrait a JCPenny's......and of course lots of cocktails and gossip time!! I am sooooooo flipping excited for it i could just hurt someone (opps, sorry trav). I shall now share some of my lovely college (ohhhh college) memories with you.....that include the 4 best friends a girl could ask for. I shall commentate to the best of my abilities at each picture....pay close attention there will be a quiz later.

Just so you know, if Amanda (one in the maroon) and I had never had Stats together, and randomly been each others partners, none of these friendships would have happened. Thanks Stats..... ok so Amanda and I needed roomates, and took a leap of faith (only having known eachother briefly) and decided to live togeter..... here we are at our house with Mel.... i'd just like to mention that they're BOTH wearing my clothes....a common theme.

Ok....i must now point out the time old tradition that is the DRYERS. If you drink....in aggieville.... and like a good giggle. DO THIS. A few pointers....turn off the heat first, and hold on for dear life!

I feel like this is when Jenna was new to the group. (stripped shirt). Met her through a friend of my boyfriends at the time....Thanks Mark. This is also the point in our lives where Mel began being a boring old lady and not going out :)

Yes, Mel's shirt is see-thru....no, none of us told her :) I believe we're predrinking here..... aren't my friends perty??? i think so!

This is rusty's..... is this the night we were betting on a chick fight??? too many nights there...can't keep them apart!!

Awwwww, yes....there's Savannah...she was a late joiner...she got lucky and we voted her in :) We were on the road, headed to Lawrence for a KSU KU basketball game. It was guite the adventure i must say!

This may be BY FAR one of my favorite days in college....(i was there for 6 years, so that's a big deal!). Mel and I were a little hungover so we went to lunch at P-hut buffet (another college staple). **Side-note, mel had previously mentioned to me that for spring break she was going to try out being an alcoholic** Walking back to the car there's a sign for like $2 shots or something. I (jokingly of course) say "Hey mel, let's go take some shots!"....she laughs at me and gets in the car..... me: "if you're going to be an alcoholic mel you better man the F up".....Mel slams the car and park and tells me to get my ass out. i was scared....if you've ever angered mel you'd know why. So i get out....suprisingly she doesn't peel out and leave me there....she gets out too. Long story short.....we took a poll on what guys think about "just the tip", went to the eye dr. drunk, thought i had diabetes and ditched class...after going and leaving everything there.

I pretend graduated!!! (walked in may of 06 didn't technically graduate for like a semester or 3 later). We're at Lemmy's (YUM-O pizza) celebrating!!

Ahhhhh our Valentines Day shirts.....By far one of my favorite we made. It says..."Friends Don't let Friends Date Losers".... I had just got done dating a Loser..... weird.

HipHip HORRAY it's Fake St. Patty's Day!!!!! Our last one while we lived in Manhattan.

They traveled all the way to Dodge City for my Bridal Shower!!! They're first comment getting out of the car...."It F*cking STINKS!!!" Ha.

And our last group gathering....Ms. Amanda's Wedding in Wichita!! We clean up nicely don't we!

Resolution Recap.....FAIL!

You remember right? It's the beginning of January and we all did the posts about what we were going to change this year..... with the greatest intentions..... this was going to be the year we DID IT!! umm......i don't know about you guys.....but it's been an epic FAIL over here.

We'll start with Trav's.....

1. Watch less TV. Well the good news is we're not watching more tv....just not less :)

2. Get to the Mountains more. I can happily say.....we've accomplished this!! We've been ohhhh about 20 times this year so far.....and we'll hopefully make it a few more!!

3. Photography..... um...... ya. About that. We've gotten the new camera out maybe a total of 4 times since we got it..... FAIL.

4. Meet more people. Well....i won't say we've done crappy at this, but i can' say we've done amazing as well. We did go out with Trav's work crew for St. Patty's.....fun, but not fun the next day...you know what i mean!!

5. Start a Family. Welp..... i'm not knocked up yet, so i'd say this is a fail as well. We're working on it people....working on it real hard :)

Ok...now on to mine. Pretty much the same story here.

1. Eat Healthier. Yesterday i had McDonlads for breakfast and Chinese for dinner....how the hell does it sound like i'm doing!!!

2. Lift more weights. Ok....here's the situation with that. By the time i get off work and make it to the gym i want to get my 45 minutes of cardio in and call it a day. I'm super duper bad about legs....i figure all that cardio should count right?? SO maybe once a week, twice if i'm feeling fiesty, i'll get some arms in. I'm not sure the last time i did abs...... and it's almost April.... i hope i'm pregnant by the summer so i have an excuse to not look killer in a suit!!!

3. Church. Ohhhhhh can i just tell you that i have a great excuse for this one too!! If we're going to make it to the mountains more (Trav's goal number 2) we had to give up saturdays or sundays....and it tends to be sundays. I know...there is services on Saturday nights.....but um.... no. So ya....FAIL here as well. (you may need to start praying for my soul at some point)

4. Cussing. Do i even need to tell you how the F this is going???? I didn't f'ing think so.

5. Friends....previously mentioned in travs.....pay attention.

6. Baby. Ugh.....No. For those of you that know me well, know i become obsessed rather quickly. Something to do with my OCD i'm assuming :) Mix that with my ohhhhhhh so amazing patience, and you got one hell of a BabyDrivenPsycho right here!!

Grumpy McGrump Butt!!!

So today.....I am grumpy. I am tired. I am no fun. I need sleep. I need my dogs to calm the F down. I need my parents dogs to calm the F down. Scratch that, I need them to leave my dogs the F alone. (yes mine may start it, but it's their house, they do what they want!) I need that damn lady Trina to call me back. I need my checking account to not be negative. I need a large Diet coke, possibly with rum in it. I need to NOT eat the skittles that are in my desk. I need to force my cousin Sarah to mail me my damn bras already :) I need a vacation. I need sleep (did i mention that already!). I need my flipping house to not be 70 degrees when i'm attempting sleeping (62 is where it's at man!). So again..... Today I am grumpy. I am tired. I am no fun.

So as i mentioned previously we just had the joy of moving..... and what a joy it was!! Turns out the people that own the house we moved into (also were the ones living there before) have NEVER heard of a swiffer...duster....glass cleaner....or even a dyson. That place was GROSS!!! Which made moving ohhhhh so much more fun! Twice the space to clean....twice the grumpy me! Anywho....i thought i'd share some pics..... enjoy my little creepsters :)

St. Louis.....FINALLY!!

Sorry it's taken me a while to get this post done. It's been a crazy week since the trip!! But more on that later......so, St. Louis!!!

I had a flight that needed to be used and I thought St. Louis would be perfect! Sarah and her family have been out there for um over three years i believe....and i've only been once. Sad....very very sad. Originally Jess was going to tag along as well....since she lived in KC and it wasn't that far..... but then she moved and got a job that takes up ohhhhh about 80% of her time, so she was out. So it would be just little ol me..... or so Sarah thought!! Jess contacted me about a month earlier and said she thought it would be fun to try and surprise Sarah. Right.... surprise sarah....ha. You can't get anything past that girl..... she's good. Sooooo some how jess got off, and made arrangements....and the next thing you know she's showing up at Sarah and I's sushi reservation!!! Good times Good times.....

Hurray for a successful Birthday Surprise!

So after all that excitement we headed to a comedy show.... i heart comedy shows. I especially like when the opening act is soooo akward that all me and sarah could do was look at jessi.....and make her uncomfortable!! It was a lot of fun though.... all and all, i great little friday!!

Saturday we got up and headed out to do some damage at the mall!! Jess misses having a mall...well a mall that has more then JCPenny's and Stage :)

THEN....as if shopping wasn't enough excitement for one day....we headed to watch Little Miss Rileigh get her cheer on!!! She's sooooo stinking cute....and pretty good too i might add.

So after a little cheer, we did a little more shopping...then home to prepare ourselves for the exciting evening we were about to embark on.... wanna know what we did???? Have you seen Whip it? Ya, me neither....but apparently it has a lot of this is in!!

That's right..... we went to the Roller derby!!! I have to admit....i was scared. These people take this seriously....tailgating and all. It was really entertaining.... and even though it was tough to follow at first, i think i got the jist of it. We headed out to a local bar after that with Sarah's babysitter.... who is officially a good time!!

It was a great trip....a great great trip. So great in fact we've decided to make it yearly.....
